Annotation: For the 50th Anniversary of the first-ever drifting station of Ivan Dmitrievich Papanin (a Russian polar explorer, scientist, Counter Admiral, twice Hero of the Soviet Union), about Comsomol Young Scientific and Research Station SP-28.

Film description: The area houses on the Komsomol youth drifting station North Pole-28 "in the central part of the Arctic Ocean. Specialists drifting station: hydrologists, meteorologists, geophysicists, programmers conduct scientific monitoring, research. Polar explorers harvest snow for a bath, breakfast, lunch, and in-cabin listening to the radio radiopisma relatives and friends, Dr. K. Yurchenko conducts medical inspections of polar explorers. Unloading flights transporting cargo on the floating station. Sunrise at the latitude of the drifting station North Pole-28 ". Polar explorers celebrate the holiday sun. Return of polar explorers in Leningrad after one year stay at the station "North Pole-28". Polar explorers come out of the plane, meet with relatives.
