Annotation: About the present life of veterans of the Great Patriotic War (Soviet people’s participation in World War II in 1941-1945) in the village of Gorkaya Balka, their relations with veterans of the Soviet war in Afghanistan (also known as the Soviet-Afghan War).
Film description: The film tells about the reburial in the village of bitter Beam soldiers killed during the Great Patriotic War, the liberation of the village. The film includes the following film shots: general view of the village, a funeral procession passes through the streets of the village, a memorial meeting, presentation of veterans at the rally (synchronously), the opening of the monument to fallen soldiers. Villagers celebrate Victory Day, sharing their memories of war (synchronously). Harvesters work in farm fields, a man collects pears in the garden, a woman feeding ducks, celebrating a wedding in the village, seeing army recruits in the collective farm of Fame Museum.
